Peace be with you. At times like these, the Church stands with you with compassion, with hope, and with the promise of Christ who said, “I am the resurrection and the life; whoever believes in me, even if he dies, will live.”
 
The celebration of the Christian funeral is a moment of both sorrow and faith. In these sacred rituals, the Church gathers to comfort those who mourn, to give thanks for the gift of a life now returned to God, and to proclaim the sure and certain hope of the resurrection.
 
These resources have been prepared to assist you in the process of planning a Catholic funeral at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church.
