Public PolicyPublic Policy - An advocacy ministry that works on the policy issues identified by the NYS Catholic Conference, which are found by logging onto NYSCatholic.org. This social justice ministry also works to encourage parishioners to become active and vocal in support of legislation that serves the vulnerable and uncounted in our society.
Catholic Action Network (CAN)~ An arm of the New York State Catholic Conference gives us all a larger voice in the halls of government. Through email and social media alerts, CAN reaches tens of thousands of Catholics to provide educational updates on the important issues being debated and to provide the tools to simplify the process of contacting our elected officials. Make your voice heard by joining the Catholic Action Network at www.nyscatholic.org or TEXT the word CAN to 50457. If you have questions or would like to get involved, please contact Marie Copeland at 518-439-4050, or email [email protected]
After Joining CAN, be prepared to "Take Action" on important issues identified by the NYS Catholic Bishops. -
