This past week we celebrated the 50th Anniversary of Earth Day. Due to the pandemic that we are living through world wide, there were no large scale celebrations of this awesome event. It was never meant, however, to be a one day event. For Christians, It takes on added significance because it occurs in the midst of our fifty day celebration of Easter. The Evangelist, our secular press and media, and our town government continue to share a multitude of ways that we can care for our earth and each other. Help your yard and garden wake up to new life, look for ways you can support families in need and those alone in apartments and homes, support local businesses and care facilities, if able, donate to charities with missions to care for the earth, and continue to pray for the health and healing of all.
