Advent is here and with it the beginning of a new liturgical year. It may not be typical to set personal goals now, but what better goal, in this year of pandemic, social unrest and political division, than commitment to protecting the gift of Creation: its people, flora, fauna, the environment.

Due to the coronavirus pandemic , St. Thomas the Apostle Church will have NO THANKSGIVING EVE OR DAY MASS and only TWO CHRISTMAS MASSES, Christmas Eve at 5 PM and Christmas Day at 10 AM. Please pray for a quick end to the community spread of the virus. God Bless our Parishioners.
As we celebrate Thanksgiving this year, we may not be able to be with many of our loved ones, but we can share a prayer of thanksgiving for their lives and for all creation.

Food Drive tomorrow Nov. 10 is for the Veteran’s Miracle Center! They will be joining us 3pm-4pm in the church parking lot. We will be collecting : Microwave Complete Meals, peanut butter, sauce, jelly, tuna, can soup, can vegetables, tall trash bags, gallon zip lock bags, windex, and toilet bowl cleaner. Thank you for your generosity and God Bless all those who have served & are serving our Country! God Bless America!
Caring for the ecosystem which is our backyard garden does take a little foresight to ensure that the soil is ready for planting next spring. God's Creation gives us the tools to protect and nourish it, to ensure its continuing productivity. We have but to act with care.
