This Tuesday May 25 from 3pm-4pm in our Church parking lot we are restocking our own food pantry here at St. Thomas: We need canned: stews, chili, meats (like chicken & tuna) mustard, ketchup, mayo, canned fruit & veggies, pancake mix, syrup, hand soap, toothpaste & toothbrushes, toilet paper or a Gift card to grocery store $10 or $25. Special shout out to Bob and Martha Keen for supervising our Food Pantry!

This week Creation Care Team was able to purchase 12 collard plants, 12 kale, 12 cabbage, 6 zucchini, 6 yellow squash and packets of celery seeds for Catholic Charities Sr. Maureen Joyce’s Soup Garden! Your recycling efforts of New York State deposits of cans and bottles is MAKING a DIFFERENCE! This summer we will also have weekly opportunities to assist in weeding and harvesting at the Soup Garden. Not a CLYNKER? Consider joining us it’s easy! Pick up a green CLYNK bag in the Gathering Hall, fill with your recycled NYS deposit cans and bottles, return to our local Hannaford CLYNK Station in town, scan our St. Thomas Church Tag and drop it in the bin!
