Tuesday Drive March 2 3pm-4pm in the church Parking Lot will be for TOLETRIES: body wash, shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste , individual toothbrushes, deodorant for teens, lotions, chap stick, razors, shaving cream, mouth wash, hand sanitizer, toothbrush holders and combs or brushes. Items will be used to create personal care bags for our Backpacks and all left over items will be given to “Things of My Very Own” for distribution as needed for our young neighbors in Foster Care. Join St. Thomas' Creation Care Team for the "Stations of Mercy" on March 5 at 7:00 PM in St. Thomas Church. Enjoy a simple and nourishing meatless meal: Easy Tortellini Soup.

Join a Lenten book club discussion of Wild Hope, hosted by St. Matthew's, Voorheesville, starting March 16, 6:30 PM. In-person or via Zoom.

RECONCILIATION: Love + Grace + Forgiveness=NEW LIFE Every Tuesday 11:30am, Sat. 4pm & by appt. Sunday, March 21st from Noon-6pm in chapel. Fr. Leskovar & Fr. Berberian will join Fr. Lesser from 1pm-3pm. Elementary Families are encouraged to join us between 1pm-3pm. Thursday, March 25th from 8am-8pm in the chapel with Fr. Lesser.

On Tuesday Feb. 23 from 3pm-4pm we are kicking off our Lenten Tuesday Drives for our neighbors served at the Sr. Maureen Joyce Food Pantry who are most in need of: canned tuna, oatmeal, grits, canned fruit, men & women’s deodorant. Thank you all for sharing your FAITH with our neighbors! HAPPY LENT!

Consider a Valentine for Creation that will last long after the flowers have died, the candy has been eaten and the cards discarded or stuck in a scrapbook.

“WARM HEARTS” on snowy day! Thank you for the AMAZING support shown to our Veterans and their families served at the Veterans Miracle Center! Special shout out to our young church Jack Lanzoni and Dane Jones for sorting and greeting! We ended the drive in the chapel with the Blessed Sacrament. Robert offered a prayer of thanksgiving for our parish family. We in turn we offered a prayer of thanks for our dedicated veterans and their families who have sacrificed so much for us. You’re invited to a free screening of the documentary 2040. This hope-filled documentary offers a vision of the future, a return to key values of human life, using technology we already have to address global issues harming Creation.

Our Veterans & their families are most in need of : Microwave Complete Meals, Peanut Butter & Jelly, Sauce, Tuna, Can Soup, Veggies, Tall Trash Bags, Gallon Zip Lock Bags, Windex & Toilet Bowl Cleaner. Thank you for honoring those who sacrificed much for our Country! God Bless you for your continued generosity!

Mucho Gracias! We were blessed with a sunny gorgeous day to PACK our truck inside and out with food and toiletry items collected throughout the week for our neighbors served at St. Francis/ St. James Food Pantry! Special shout out to our young church: Colin NeJame and C.J. Franchini for sorting and packing! We thank our Pueblo to People Committee for cohosting and all of you our faithful AMIGOS. God bless you for your generosity and commitment to share with our neighbors!

Pastoral Care has been busy making deliveries to seniors and homebound in the parish! 50 gift bags with Lenten readings, Valentine treats and cards went to our Assisted Living folks. 60 cards and Lenten materials went to the nursing home. 13 Valentine gifts bags with cards, cookies, candies and hand crafted heart pillows were delivered to Reilly House. 15 treat bags with heart pillows and Lenten readings are going and 25 bags of love are being delivered to the folks at home. The love is being felt around the community! A special thank you to all of the wonderful cards from the old and young that were sent in. And, thank you to our amazing YM/FF team and students. The hand crafted items, treats, and bags of love essential items put a smile on many faces during these cold days. The generosity of the parish is amazing!!

The Next Food DRIVE HAS ALSO BEEN MOVED TO THE GATHERING HALL. St. Thomas YOU ARE “Fearfully & Wonderfully Made!” Psalm 139:14 Thank you so much for dropping off diapers and wipes early and in the SNOW!!!! Ann Marie Couser the Director of CC Community Maternity Services is most appreciative of your support! If due to snow you have diapers and wipes that you were unable to drop off , NO WORRIES  Please bring them to our next Drive Feb. 4 hosted by Pueblo to People and YM for our neighbors served at St. Francis/St. James Parish. They are most in need of: 1 pound bags of white rice, RED beans, soup, tuna, cereal, bottle juice and for Family Toiletry Bags: shampoo, deodorant, toothbrush and toothpaste.
