Friendly Reminder NO Food Drive Tuesday June 29 and July 6! Our Summer Tuesday Food Drives will begin on July 13 at a new time 9:30-10:30 a.m. in the Church Parking Lot! God Bless you for your generosity!

If the “go green” goals you set in January have become a distant memory, July 1, the start of the second half of 2021, is a great opportunity to begin again—maybe this time with goals that are more achievable.

We will be collecting: patriotic napkins, decorations, tissues, Find & Seek Books large print, hand sanitizer, lotion, red, white and blue snacks, crackers, pringles, and Happy 4th of July Cards signed " Your St. Thomas Family.” Thanks for sharing some sparkle with our homebound seniors this summer!

CCT recently purchased with CLYNK money vegetables and herb plants for the Sr. Maureen Joyce SOUP GARDEN in Albany. The crops harvested will be severed to guests this summer and fall. Adults and families who enjoy gardening are invited to assist Center Volunteers on Thursday mornings 8:30am-10:30am for simple gardening tasks. If you are interested please see the bulletin for details! Special Thanks to our CLYNKERS for recycling!

Refrigerator needed by a neighboring family who is a guest at St. Francis (Delaware Ave) Food Pantry. They are able to transport the refrigerator. IF you can assist please contact Linda Cruz Food Pantry Coordinator [email protected] or Mary Ann at [email protected].

Tuesday June 15 Drive 3pm-4pm in church parking lot. We will begin to collect items for our “God Bless America! God Bless YOU!” bags for seniors served in our Pastoral Care Program. We are collecting these summer favorites: pasta, jelly, peanut butter, canned soup, tuna, mayo, pudding cups, red white and blue candy, cookies or Lorna Doones, along with Happy 4th of July Cards signed: “ Your St. Thomas Family.” Thanks for sharing some sparkle with our homebound seniors!

Thank you for “Showering” the Sister Maureen Joyce Center with your generosity this past Tuesday! Together Creation Care Team and Youth Ministry collected a van load of cereal, deodorant and a “lightning bolt” of gift cards and cash adding up to $605.00 for hard to find items needed by the Soup Kitchen! Special shout out to our young Church: Colin, Meg and Gabe for greeting and sorting! Thank you for being HIS LIGHT to others!

We are collecting cereal and deodorant for the Sr. Maureen Joyce Food Pantry along with gift cards from Price Chopper, Hannaford or cash. Your donation will be used to purchase other hard to find items such as celery and fresh produce for their soup kitchen. Thank you for making difference
