May 19 and 20, 2025 St. Thomas is sponsoring a bus trip to the Sight and Sound Theatre in Lancaster PA to see the 30th anniversary of their production of "Noah". The trip will include transportation, a stop at an Amish shopping center, dinner at Miller's, 1 overnight at a hotel, tickets to the show, and lunch at an Amish restaurant. The annual Catholic Women's Retreat at Wiawaka Center for Women on Lake George is being held June 8-9. The theme is "Rooted in Faith," and it is open to all women in the Albany Diocese. Includes time for Q&A, Holy Hour & confessions. This talk is part of the “Furthering Your Faith” catechetical series. These events are free of charge and open to all ages.

The Roman Catholic Diocese of Albany in collaboration with the Sisters of Saint Joseph of Carondelet invite young adults (Ages 18-39) to join us for Good News & Cold Brews on Thursday, April 25th at 7 PM at the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet Provincial House, 385 Watervliet-Shaker Road, Latham, NY. Good News & Cold Brews guest presenter is Sr. Lin Neil, CSJ. She will speak about Laudato Si' – Pope Francis’ second encyclical about care for our common home.

Mohawk Catholic is a REGIONAL YOUNG ADULT GROUP based in Schenectady. Gatherings are held on the second Thursday of each month in basement of St. Gabriel the Archangel Church. A six-film Lenten-themed “Faith on Film” series will start on February 17 at 2pm at St. Vincent de Paul , Albany in Meeting Room 1 (downstairs in the Church). These films cover an array of situations and provide food for thought as we journey through Lent: February 17 – Chocolat (PG-13 – some violence), February 24 – The Grapes of Wrath (no rating), March 2 – St. Vincent (starring Bill Murray) (PG-13 – mature themes, language), March 9 – Field of Dreams (PG), March 16 – Brooklyn (PG-13 - language), March 23 – Jesus of Montreal (in French, with subtitles) (R) Admission is free. Together we shared kindness and love with our neighbors at St. John's Outreach Center, St. James Food Pantry, Veterans Miracle Network and our homebound here in our parish family. We prayed together, celebrated Mass, Adoration, and we had FUN! Special thanks to all our Tuesday Drive Elves, our Clynkers, our Pueblo to People Committee, Creation Care Team, Friday Bible Study Group, our young church and volunteers who lead our Christmas Agape Latte Mingle, Middle School Faith & Fun Night, Santa's Workshop and all who decorated our Church for Christmas plus everything in between!
