Albany NY Chapter of Magnificat (a Ministry to Catholic Women) is hosting a Women’s Day of Reflection on Saturday, September 14 from 10 AM – 2:30 PM at the Sisters of the Resurrection Provincial House, 35 Boltwood Ave., Castleton, NY. Check-in begins at 9:30 AM in the vestibule of the Chapel. The Day will include Mass, Adoration, Rosary, Confession, Divine Mercy Chaplet, lunch (bring a bag lunch and beverages), Praise & Worship and talks by Fr. Daniel McHale and Fr. Thomas Fallati. The theme is: “Surrender to the Divine Will.” Cost: Free-will Donation – RSVP by Friday, Sept 6. Seating is limited! The 52nd Annual Diocesan Marriage Jubilee Celebration will be held on Sunday, September 29th, 2024, at 3:00 PM, at Christ Our Light Catholic Church, Loudonville. Couples celebrating their 25th, 40th, 50th or other special wedding anniversaries are invited to attend this celebration. Bishop Edward B. Scharfenberger will celebrate the Mass at 3:00 PM and greet couples and their guests at a reception in the Parish Hall at Christ Our Light immediately following Mass. *Please register through the parish office or by email to [email protected].

Led by the esteemed iconographer Veronica Royal, this unique workshop will focus on the timeless art of painting "Christ the Good Shepherd." The annual Catholic Women's Retreat at Wiawaka Center for Women on Lake George is being held June 8-9. The theme is "Rooted in Faith," and it is open to all women in the Albany Diocese. Speaker: Writer/Retreat Leader/Spiritual Motivator, Mary DeTurris Poust. Cost: $190, includes accommodations, meals, retreat program, and more.
