Thank you so much for packing our van with cereal and snacks for the children at the South End Children’s Café. You make a difference St. Thomas! Special shout out to Eli, Samuel and Alessio for sorting and greetings. While dropping of at the Café we met Vinny one of our newly Confirmed tenth graders who is working on shelves at the Café for his Eagle Project! What a wonderful world! SPARKLE and MORE! Thank you St. Thomas for your kindness and spirit shown to our homebound seniors! Together, with the amazing assistance of our seminarians Samuel and Alessio, we created 20 Summer bags filled to the brim with summer goodies. Special thanks to all you CLYNKERS and our Creation Care Team for purchasing our bags. Extra items we shared with the South End Children’s Café. You are invited to join young adults from across the diocese for a day long retreat. The retreat will be held at the beautiful Joshua House in Altamont. Sunday, June 26 from 9:30am to 6pm at the Joshua House 1071 Joshua Lane, Altamont, NY The retreat includes presentations, personal reflection, prayer, social time, Sacrament of Reconciliation, and Mass with Bishop Scharfenberger. Lunch, drinks, and snacks will be provided. A free will offering / donation for the Joshua House is requested. All attendees MUST register. Attendance maximum capacity is 75 people. You are invited to attend the Priesthood Ordination of Russell Bergman and James O'Rouke on Saturday, June 18 at 11AM at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception. If you have never attended an ordination before it is a beautiful Sacrament. Attend or watch the live stream!

We thank all of our amazing Catechists, Gatekeepers, Youth Ministry Volunteers, our young Church and all of YOU our St. Thomas Family for your support of our Faith Formation and Youth Ministry Programs! Together we performed 1500 + H.O.P.E. Hours Helping Others, Praying and Encouraging one another! Thank you all for sharing your gifts of the Holy Spirit to make a difference. As St. Mother Teresa once said, “Thank you for doing something beautiful for God! And doing it with great love!”
