Thanksgiving cheer! Our Pastoral Care Associate was able to deliver 50 hand crafted walker bags, Thanksgiving cards, and reflections to the residents at Delmar Center Nursing and Rehab as well as Thanksgiving "turkey" treats, cards, and reflections to the residents at Atria Delmar Place. We hope this brings a little happiness to the residents so they know we are thinking of them this holiday season. THANK YOU ~ to the Pastoral Care Knitting Quilting and Crocheting with Love Ministry for creating the bags, and to Barbara Ruggirello for the turkey treats, and to all of you who created and sent in cards. We are so thankful for YOU!
This Tuesday Nov. 16 we will host our Annual Gifts of Warmth Drive from 3pm-4pm in the Church Parking Lot. We are collecting NEW warm hats, gloves, scarves and socks for men and women, hand and toe warmers or pull top canned food. These gifts will be shared with Catholic Charities Food Pantries for Christmas. Thank you so much for your generosity
The Veterans Miracle Network and our friend Rob thank you for keeping our veterans and their families in your prayers. Thank you for your generous donations of personal care items and cleaning supplies. The network creates boxes weekly for our veterans in need. Special shout out to our young church, C.J. and Colin for assisting Rob at the drive. We thank our Veterans for their service to our country. God Bless our Veterans, their families and all of you! Challenge us to change our lifestyles. Guide our leaders to take courageous action. Enable your church to be a beacon of hope. And foster within us a renewed vision of your purposes for your world, through Jesus Christ our Lord, by and for whom all things were made.
